Partially pinnable dress forms have a thinner layer of foam and the pins can be “pinned” at any angle, whereas fully pinnable ones have a thicker layer therefore allowing the pin to be directly inserted. Many of the tabletops and professionals are fully pinnable.
Can they be used for displaying pants as well?
While dress forms are meant for display tops (like T-shirts, dresses coats, and jackets), they can still be used for display pants also. Dual fasteners on the underside of these forms allowing them to be fastened to the center pole either through the middle or through the left side (via a pant leg). All standing models and some tabletop ones have these dual fasteners.
